Vision and Mission

The vision and mission of the Environmental Agency of Deli Serdang Regency elaborate the vision and mission of the Regional Head as set out in the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) of Deli Serdang Regency, specifically for the mandatory government affairs of environment and waste management.

Vision of Deli Serdang Regency

“A Deli Serdang that is Healthy, Educated, Prosperous, Religious and Sustainable”

The 2025–2029 RPJMD vision of Deli Serdang Regency, under Regent dr. H. Asri Ludin Tambunan, M.Ked(PD)., Sp.PD and Vice Regent Lom Lom Suwondo, SS, places the word Sustainable — a region that is green, well preserved, and free of pollution — among its development directions. Environmental affairs therefore directly underpin the achievement of the regional vision.

Mission

1. Improve the quality of waste management from source to final processing through reduction, separation, and circular economy practices.
2. Control pollution and damage to water, air, and soil through routine monitoring and compliance enforcement.
3. Raise the quality of environmental permit and document services so that they are fast, transparent, and accountable.
4. Expand green open space and conserve the region's biodiversity.
5. Grow the awareness and participation of citizens, businesses, and schools in environmental conservation.
6. Strengthen institutional capacity, staff competence, and data-driven environmental information systems.
